Spacious and exceptionally well-equipped 75 m² apartment for up to four adults and a baby with two bedrooms, a living room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and balcony, as well as free private parking. The apartment is located on the first floor, one level above the ground floor, in a quiet residential area of Salzburg-Maxglan, about a 15-minute walk from Neutor, the gate to Salzburg’s historic center.

Bedroom 1

The first bedroom has a queen-size double bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a satellite TV. A wooden baby cot is available on request and can be unfolded and prepared when needed. Exterior roller shutters allow the bedroom to be fully darkened for a restful night's sleep.

Bedroom 2

The second bedroom has a sofa that opens into a queen-size double bed, a wardrobe, an armchair, a bookcase with a selection of books, and a desk with a chair. It also has direct access to the balcony. Exterior roller shutters allow the bedroom to be fully darkened for a restful night's sleep.

Living Room

The spacious living room has two sofas, a coffee table and a hammock – a relaxing place to unwind after a day exploring Salzburg. A small children's armchair and a play corner with toys for babies and young children make the room especially welcoming for families. Shelves beneath the Smart TV hold a selection of games for children and adults. The Smart TV offers Netflix, Disney+ and Zattoo with over 150 live TV channels.

Kitchen & Dining Area

The fully equipped kitchen has a Miele refrigerator, dishwasher, electric stove and oven, as well as a microwave, Nespresso machine, filter coffee machine, toaster and electric kettle. It is well stocked with cookware, dishes, glasses and utensils. Nespresso capsules, filter coffee, organic teas and basic cooking essentials such as oil, vinegar, salt and spices are provided.

The dining area is part of the kitchen and has a table with five comfortable chairs.

Bathroom

The bathroom has a shower, toilet, washbasin with vanity unit, heated towel rail and hairdryer. Toiletries including soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided, as well as shower caps and a small sewing kit. A window provides natural light and ventilation.

Balcony

The balcony is accessed directly from the second bedroom and is furnished with a table and two chairs. An awning provides shade on sunny days – a pleasant spot to sit outside and enjoy breakfast or a drink.

Entrance Hall

A spacious entrance hall connects the kitchen, bathroom, living room and both bedrooms, so all rooms can be accessed independently. Bookshelves in the hallway offer a selection of books for guests. Games are also available, and a safe is provided for valuables.

Thoughtful Extras

Each guest receives their own new pair of hotel-style slippers, which can be found on the shoe rack immediately to the right when entering the apartment.

Guest Access

A rotary clothesline is available in the garden behind the house.

A covered bicycle shelter is available behind the house. It is open and unlocked, so guests bringing bicycles should bring their own lock.

Laundry

A washing machine and dryer are available free of charge in a separate laundry room on the ground floor, shared exclusively by our three apartments. Laundry detergent is provided free of charge.

Good to Know

Standard check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Earlier check-in may be possible if the apartment is ready and has been arranged in advance. Luggage can be dropped off from 10:30 on the day of arrival, only by prior arrangement. Your personal Nuki access code is normally activated from 15:00.

The apartment is comfortably heated during the colder months. If you prefer a warmer room temperature, simply let us know – the heating can be adjusted remotely.

Neighborhood

The apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood of small houses and gardens. Seven restaurants and traditional inns are within about 2–8 minutes on foot, a bakery is approximately 4–5 minutes away, and a supermarket about 8–10 minutes. Neutor, an entrance to Salzburg’s historic center, is around a 15-minute walk away, and the Festspielhaus about 20 minutes. Our Guest App includes personal recommendations for restaurants, cafés and places to visit. A folder in the apartment provides neighborhood information and a map of bus stops, supermarkets and the walking route to the historic center.

Getting Around

Bus no. 1 at Glansteg is about a five-minute walk away and connects to the city center and Salzburg Main Station. Bus no. 2 at Hans-Schmid-Platz is about a 6–7-minute walk away and connects to Salzburg Airport. The Salzburg Guest Mobility Ticket provides free public transport throughout the province of Salzburg during your stay. To receive the ticket, you must first complete guest registration using the link I send you before arrival.

Frequently asked questions

Which apartment is suitable for couples or families?

All three apartments have separate bedrooms. The 40 m² ground-floor one-bedroom apartment is ideal for two adults. The 42 m² two-room apartment accommodates up to four guests, with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The 75 m² three-room apartment accommodates up to four guests and has two bedrooms. A baby cot is available on request.

On which floor are the apartments?

The one-bedroom apartment is on the ground floor. The two-room and three-room apartments are on the first floor, one level above the ground floor. If you have questions about access or particular mobility needs, please contact me before booking.

How far is Salzburg’s historic center?

Neutor, the gate to Salzburg’s historic center, is about a 15-minute walk from the apartments. The Festspielhaus is about 20 minutes away on foot.

Are there restaurants, a bakery and a supermarket within walking distance?

Yes. Seven restaurants and traditional inns are about 2–8 minutes away on foot, a bakery is about 4–5 minutes away, and a supermarket about 8–10 minutes away. Our Guest App and interactive map include personal recommendations for restaurants, cafés and sights.

Is free parking available?

Yes. Free private parking is available in the courtyard. Turn left just after the house to enter the courtyard.

How does the free public transport ticket work?

The Guest Mobility Ticket lets you use public transport free of charge throughout the state of Salzburg during your stay. To receive the ticket, you must first complete guest registration. I will send you the registration link before your arrival.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Yes. Bed linen and towels are provided in all three apartments.

Can I wash and dry my laundry free of charge?

Yes. A separate laundry room on the ground floor has a washing machine and dryer. It is shared by our three apartments and is free to use. Detergent is also provided.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Your personal door code lets you check in independently using the keypad.

Can I leave my luggage before check-in?

Luggage can be left from 10:30 am by prior arrangement. Please contact me in advance to arrange this.

Are pets allowed?

No. Pets are not allowed in any of our three holiday apartments.

Can I cancel free of charge?

Yes. Any cancellations made more than 7 days before check-in are free of charge. Any payments already made will be refunded in full. You can find the full conditions under “Payment & cancellation”.
